    Just openend a shop on Etsy.
    Question: some people say my prices are to low and that people won’t take you serious. But why? I’m afraid that if I make the price higher, people won’t buy. Any advice is welcome!

    Hello Betty,

    Have you read our article on pricing your items? That should help out a bit.

    As far as why it would “hurt you” to have low prices, it has to do with people believing in the old sayings, “you get what you pay for” and “the more it costs, the better it is”.

    I know that it is tempting to set your prices low when just starting, but don’t. Now is the time to set the prices you will be using on a day to day basis. It’s easier to go down on price than up in the future.

    1. Are you trying to find something to make a blog about or are you looking for topics that will pull viewers to your current blog?
    2. Followers, you mean followers of your blog?
    3. Please share your website url so I can take a look at it.
